Introduction:
Indian cinema has a long tradition of films based on historical and mythical theme. One such magnificent story comes with "Hari Hara Veera Mallu". The film is based on the background of the 17th -century India, when the Mughal rule was running huge and there were struggles for liberation in many parts of the country. During that time, a hero "Veera Mallu", who fights not only with the sword but also for the pride of one's own principles and community.
Director Krishna, who had previously made a historic film like Gautamiputra Shatakarni, has presented a grand historic action drama with Pawan Kalyan this time. The story of the film is of a person who initially has an image like a thief or a robber, but inside he is a patriot and a warrior for justice. Their main goal is to steal a sacred and precious item from the Mughal regime, which is not only material, but also a symbol of the identity and self esteem of a race.
Pawan Kalyan plays the lead role in the film, while Bobby Deol and Arjun Rampal are also found in important characters. "Hari Hara Veera Mallu" is not limited to just action and VFX. it is a story of heroic, sacrifices and respects, Freedom, which gives a magnificent visual feeling on a larger screen.
Movie Story:
"Hari Hara Veera Mallu" is not just a historic drama. It is the beginning of a revolution. The story of the film is from the 17th century South India, where the Mughal rule wants to influence its influence in the southern parts. The general public was raising the oppression and taxation of governance, and at that time, a young rebellion warrior - Veera Mallu.
Veera Mallu became the character of a common man as a warrior and hero. In the film, he faces many difficulties, not only with weapons, but also with his cleverness, patience, fearlessness, and adventurously. Its aim is to regain something that not only has historical value, but also a symbol of the self esteem of his society.
The story of the film depicts the story of political polarization, mughal court, and the life of a true hero. Occasionally wonderful battle scenes, elegant royal palaces and dramatic dialogues depend on the story.
Other characters such as the Mughal ruler (whose character Bobby Deol played), and a female character (Nidhi Agarwal), who plays a major role in the life of Vira Mallu - all of them also make an important contribution to the story.
The film is a fight for political pressure against religious and cultural rites and that fight is full of heroic and honor. There is a surprise in every scene that takes viewers to a dramatic tour on historical land.
Performances:
Pawan Kalyan (as Veera Mallu):
Pawan Kalyan is the heart of the film. He has beautifully expressed the heroic, compassion and anger in the character of "Veera Mallu". Their visionary and dialogue presentation is such an attraction that viewers cannot remove them from the screen. Their combat style is very strong in action scenes, and they also have a serious impact in emotional scenes.
Bobby Deol (as a villain):
Bobby Deol has brought a lot of money for his role as a Mughal ruler. They look gorgeous on the screen both an arrogant, ruler and warrior. Especially their look and body language gives the character a touch of ink and intimidation. His character in this film is short, but very effective.
Nidhi Agarwal:
Nidhi Agarwal's character has been introduced as a more emotional supporting role. Even though their screen is not high, wherever they are found, they are filled with beloved, softening and emotions.
Arjun Rampal:
Arjun Rampal's character is politically important. His performance is calm but effective. His presence gives the film a little more deadly political depth. And it is very good to be seen on the screen after a long time.
Direction & Screenplay:
Direction:
The director of the film, Krishna, is well known for the historical and period drama, and here they have made full use of their magnificent imagination. His point of view of giving the film a magnificent, old century and glorious look is clear palaces, battlefields, and courtier scenes are all presentally and convenient.
He has raised the character of Pawan Kalyan as a strong and inspiring hero. The directing of Agriculture for keeping the recent balance between the cultural, religious and political elements in the film is worthy of praise.
Screenplay :
The screenplay of the film looks very strong in the beginning. The identity of the characters, the heterogeneous conditions, and the mobility towards the mission keeps the viewer from the beginning.
But in the middle of the film, the screenplay slows down a bit some scenes seem to be pulled, and lose a bit of a little bit of intensity. Nevertheless, the intensity and enthusiasm arise again to the last extent.
The screenplay contains a number of political stories, dialogues, and perspective that depths on historical time. Some montage and voiceover scenes make a cinematic experience.
Technical View:
1). Cinematography:
Cinematography is one of the most powerful things in the film. The cameraman has imprisoned the magnificent palaces, the plains of the wedding, and the natural scenes. Especially the Slow-Motion Action Scene and Aerial Shots Visually win the heart. The use of light is also a great deal - the scenes appearing in the Raja have been strengthened with the right colors and shades.
2). VFX and Graphics (Visual Effects):
A lot of the film is based on VFX - especially the visuals of palaces, war scenes and magic setpeace. Most of the scenes have been made magnificently. Although the graphics may not seem a little real in some special Moments, there is a big plus point of the Visuals film.
3). Sound design and background music (Sound Design):
The sound design is extremely intense and according to the energy of the film. The scenes of the war are the sound effects, and the powerful background score experience is felt when the hero enters Wenever.
4). Music:
The songs of the film may not be memorable, but their thematic music and period musical touch are properly corresponding to the mood of the film. No love song or patriotic song has been successful in maintaining emotions.
5). Color Grading and Production Design:
The color palette of the film is very royal - the historical period has been represented by the dense red, Golden, Neela and Brown Shades. Detailing to each set design, elegant suits, and battle to be made scenes, from background to objects is significant.
Positive Aspects :
1) Powerful presence in Pawan Kalyan:
Their acting, action timing and controlled emotions sprinkle viewers. He is the main attraction of the film.
2) Elegant Visuals and Cinematography:
The royal sets, elegant war scenes and beautiful camera shots are spectacularly.
3) Cultural and historical background:
The film also offers an overview of India's historical culture and honor.
4) Powerful Themes:
The themes like self -esteem, the patience of the warrior and the rebellion against the rule are very impressive.
5) Stylish Action Corography:
Action scenes have craft and dramatics - especially the fight sequences of Pawan Kalyan.
Nagetive Aspects :
1) Slow speed in the middle:
The other part of the film looks slightly pulled and slow. Raft is reduced.
2) Innovation in the plot is low:
The story is good, but it seems that we have seen such stories earlier. Many events seem to be predictable.
3) Some characters have not received enough development:
Along with the characters such as Nidhi Agarwal's character and other political characters could have been deeper.
4) Unnatural in some Visuals:
Although VFX is often good, in some scenes, it seems clear "Computer Generated".
5) Songs are not more effective:
The songs of the film are not very memorable. Thematic music is good, but there are less of memorable melodies.
Final Touch review:
"Hari Hara Veera Mallu" is a magnificent historical visual experience, full of heroic, culture and feelings of self-esteem. Pawan Kalyan acting in the film and his charisma, magnificent sets and powerful action scenes are the main attraction for the viewers. Attempts to bring about the imagination of director Krishna and the astrological atmosphere are admirable.
Yes, there are also some drawbacks to the film - especially in the middle of the screenplay, slowness, and less innovation in the story. Also, if you choose a historical drama, magnificent action and rebel avatar of the protagonist, this film is definitely a view of you.
